Greetings. Google Android G1 hackers should definitely note this truly excellent work by Luke Hutchison towards practical support of "multitouch" input for G1 applications. As he notes, there are some hardware-related limitations, but for the sorts of situations where most apps could make use of multitouch (e.g. page zooming, etc.) his techniques (which are backwards-compatible for non-multitouch-aware programs) look extremely promising.
